If Halo Legends is any indication of how Microsofts 343 Industries plans on running the Halo brand then fans should be worried. Made up of 7 shorts with animation duties handled by 5 different Japanese production houses and story outlines & scripts by 343 Industries creative director Frank O’Connor.
What ever agency is handling the microsoft account knows what their doing. For the Halo 3 launch we got Joseph Kosinski’s “Stary Night”, Neil Blomkamp’s shorts & Rupert Sanders “Musuem (Diorama)” spot. Sanders follows that up with an amazing spot for the upcoming Halo 3: ODST.
One aspect of film that has always fascinated me is how two people can have such different reaction to the same film. That’s why when I came across online articles and comments by people who didn’t like ‘District 9’ because they found it racist I was instantly interested and started thinking about the film on a deeper level.
